GET CACHE
Delete your account
Get Cache is a mobile app published by Ground Truth Data Inc., a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada. This page explains how to delete your Get Cache account and exactly what data is removed.
If you don't have an account
Get Cache works fully without an account, and most planters use it that way. If you never created an account, we hold no data about you and there is nothing to request — simply delete the app from your phone and all of your data is gone.
How to delete your account
There are two ways. Either one fully deletes your account.
1. In the app (fastest)
- Open Get Cache.
- Tap the Account tab (the tent icon).
- Scroll down and tap Delete account.
- Confirm twice. Your account is then permanently deleted.
2. By email
Email info@getcache.org from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm and delete your account.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your email address and sign-in credentials.
- Your encrypted cloud backups — the copies of your tallies, maps, and other Get Cache data stored on our servers.
- Crash reports and diagnostic records tied to your account.
Deleting your account in the app also wipes the data on that device. There is no undo.
What we keep, and for how long
- Account and cloud-backup data is deleted immediately when you use the in-app button, and any residual copies are purged within 60 days.
- We may retain a limited set of records where the law requires it (for example, financial records if you ever purchase a paid feature). These are kept only as long as legally required and are not used for any other purpose.
- Data stored only on your own device is not affected by an account-deletion request. To remove that, delete the app from your phone.
